Job Description:

We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Lead UI/UX Designer to drive the design of stunning websites and web applications from scratch. The ideal candidate will excel in conceptualising, designing, and creating exceptional user experiences while also contributing to content and overall creative direction. Strong English communication skills are essential to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with clients and team members.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of end-to-end UI/UX design for websites and web apps, from concept to final execution.
  • Develop creative concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs tailored to client requirements.
  • Ideate and create compelling content to complement and enhance design storytelling.
  • Ensure designs are user-centric, visually stunning, and aligned with branding and business objectives.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and present design ideas to stakeholders and clients with clarity and confidence.
  • Maintain a high standard of design quality while balancing creativity and functionality.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure seamless design implementation.
  • Stay updated on emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to deliver cutting-edge solutions.

Required Skills:

  • 3–5 years of proven experience in designing website UI/UX, preferably in a lead role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects, including concept creation and execution.
  • Expertise in Figma for designing and prototyping; knowledge of other design tools is a plus.
  • Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for aesthetics, layout, and detail.
  • Solid English communication skills, both written and verbal, for creating content and articulating design concepts.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide creative solutions that drive user engagement.
  • Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles.
  • Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
  • Leadership qualities to guide junior designers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in one of the following fields): Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Fine Arts, Interaction Design Computer Science or Information Technology (with relevant design experience)
  • Alternative Qualifications: Diploma or Certification in UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, or Graphic Design from a recognized institution.
  • Exceptional creativity with a keen eye for detail, layout, and aesthetics.
  • Strong ability to provide user-centric and visually engaging design solutions.
  • Strategic thinking to align designs with branding and business objectives.

Mandatory Requirement:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing comprehensive projects, including concept creation, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
